Wow, exactly what a wake up call I managed to get when I attempted to purchase some things online a few days ago and was told which I would be unable to use a card because the merchant would not have a very high risk merchant services account. Gurus why and was told that they knew they did not need to have one, but I do not see how they can survive not implementing these bank cards for business.
I realize that certain types of businesses require the owners to have a high risk merchant services account, such as the adult products and services businesses, on the web businesses, travel, and others. It will seem to me, being a small business owner, that any one that is trying to do business online should a minimum of get a risky proposition merchant services account to allow them to process bank cards and be able to compete about the same arena using competitors. I would not find out how they will live in business by without having a high risk merchant services account. I am aware that my company cannot survive without the cardboard processing account we have for the business.
When driving to work on a daily basis I look at all the forms of businesses available and wonder why anyone would start-up a business and attempt to make it successful after which not need all the tools to compete with the opposite businesses that sell the same kind of services and products that their business could sell. I reckon that they will learn the hard way.
